Types of Betting
There are plenty of different types of bets you can place apart from betting on an outcome of one single event. In this guide, we will explore the majority of them in more detail.
>> Bovada Betting (US allowed) <<
Single – Betting on one selection in a single event. In order for you to receive a payment this selection must win.
Double/Treble/Accumulator – one bet involving two or more selections, all of which need to be successful in order for you to win.
Trixie: A bet which involves four different bet types across three events. The bet includes three doubles and one treble, meaning that two of your selections must be successful in order to get a return.
Patent: Seven bets over three different sections. This bet is the same as a Trixie but each bet has a single place on them as well, which means you only need one to win in order to claim a return.
Yankee: 11 bets across four selections. This bet involved 6 doubles, 4 trebles and one accumulator. In order for you to gain a return you need to have two selections successful.
Lucky 15: 15 bets across four selections. This is the same as a Yankee but includes four singles as well. This bet is only accepted for greyhounds and horse racing.

Forecasts: If you want to try and predict 1st and 2nd in a horse of greyhound race than this is called a forecast. Alternatively, you can bet on a reverse forecast which means your two selections can finish 1st or 2nd in any order.
Combination Forecasts – Same as a forecast but you can select more than two selections to finish in the top two.
Tricast/combination tricasts: Same as a forecast but you need to predict the top three finishers in the race.
