Ways to bet
As we all know, there are a variety of different weight divisions and major fights that take place every weekend, but there are also several ways you can bet on a fight:
Winner – The most popular bet type is to predict the outcome of a bout. This bet is successful as long as your fighter wins. It does not matter if it is a KO, technical or even a point’s decision.
Number of rounds – Betting on the number of rounds the fight will last is another popular bet. The bookmaker will decide (based on form from previous fights) how many rounds the fight is likely to go and offer odds on the event that the fight is over both under and over that many rounds.
Round betting – Betting on how you think your fighter will win is another way to bet on boxing. The odds are offered based on the likelihood of your fighter winning in a specific round. You can choose from either fighter knocking out their opponent in any round, or winning on points, or even bet on the outcome as a draw.
Method of win – If you are unsure as to when it may happen but believe that your fighter will win a specific way (KO or decision) then you can back this as well.
